Coca-Cola Scholars Scholarships
Over 250 awards going to scholars with academic, leadership, and talent qualities; award is from $4,000 to $20,000.
Gates Millennium Scholarships
At least 1,000 scholarships awarded to students showing significant financial need; covers room, board and tuition.
Intel Science Talent Search
This award is from $5,000 to $100,000. There are 40 awards given to winners of a science competition. Each student must present a scientific research project.
Jackie Robinson Scholarship Foundation
There are about 100 award winners of $6,000 each year.

LGBTQ Scholarships
Point Scholarships are designed to help promising LGBTQ students achieve their full academic and leadership potential despite obstacles. Scholars must demonstrate academic excellence, leadership skills, community involvement, and financial need. Attention also will be paid to students who have lost the financial and social support of their families and/or communities as a result of revealing their sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. This award provides a $10,000 scholarship to juniors who will pursue a self-initiated public service project during their senior year.
Eligible students:
*must have one full year remaining until graduation*are in the top 1/3 of his/her class
*must have demonstrated an interest in public service
*must have outstanding leadership potential
*can demonstrate effective communication skills
