Greetings!
The African American Resource and Cultural Center would like to cordially invite you to join us in celebrating our 30th Anniversary! To commemorate this momentous occasion, we plan to have a celebratory event intended to honor the history of AARCC, highlight the people who made it possible, and share stories of all the ways AARCC has impacted the lives of ABC people at UCSC.
The event will take place on Friday, April 16th at 5:00 PM PST and will be a two-part event. The first half of the event will be a formal celebration with distinguished speakers who will deliver keynote speeches and share their personal stories. There will be a brief intermission to allow participants who wish to continue into the second half to take a short break. Finally, the second half of the celebration will take place, which will allow our guests to attend a variety of community zoom rooms and engage with current students in the various activities planned.
Please register for the event using this link and invite others to attend as well! If you would like to participate in a community zoom room, please use this link to select the zoom room of your choice.
For more information about the structure of the event, please see the attached flyers below which detail what the various community zoom rooms will feature.
We hope to see you there!
